David Aufmuth started selling cars in January of 1993 in Tucson, AZ. After selling cars for 8 months, he was promoted to finance manager where he worked for 2 years splitting time as sales manager. He left the retail side of the business to work for Pat Ryan and Associates for 2 years where he traveled the US assisting finance departments in achieving new levels and finally being relocated to Detroit, MI, the car capital of the world.

The next 5 years were spent working with the JM&A Group out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While running Iowa and half of Wisconsin for JM&A, he was awarded the "Star of Excellence". Dave left the JM&A Group to become the Wilde Automotive Groups Director of Finance over their nine dealerships. While at Wilde, the net Finance income was increased $180 per vehicle retailed. Dave also started 3 sub-prime departments that grossed $179,000 on a $25,000 ad budget his last month. Although happy at Wilde, dealership consulting was Dave's true passion. He got back into F&I training and consulting in 2002. In 2005 he partnered with Jerry Farner to form the F&I Solutions Group and has never looked back. Dave lives in Lake Geneva with his wife Jill and three sons, Adam, Josh and Nick.
